POE-G084GS is an unmanaged desktop PoE Switch with 8 × gigabit PoE Ports. The product is equipped with two types of transmission modes (Default/Extend). The poe port supports the IEEE802.3af/at standards, and the maximum power consumption is 120W.

The PoE switch is compatible with IEEE802.3af/at standard, and it determines and delivers the exact power supply to PoE devices. It features non-blocking wire-speed architecture with 24Gbps switching capacity for maximum data throughput.

By dialing or enabling extend mode on the front panel, the transmission distance of a PoE port 7-8 can be up to 250m, with bandwidth reduced to 10Mbps. The switch's port 11-12 use fiber cable to connect wired network segments throughout buildings, extending beyond the limitations of ethernet cabling.

The PoE switch is plug and play, with no configuring required. Auto MDI/MDI-X crossover on all ports eliminates the need for crossover cables or uplink ports. It features a metal case and fanless design, ensuring noiseless operation and greater reliability over time.

The poe switch has built-in mine-proof circuits, effectively reducing the impact of thunderstorms on network systems. It supports working at ambient temperatures of -20 °C to +50 °C, improving system robustness and adapting to harsh environments.

The POE-G084GS model has 8 Gigabit PoE Ports + 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports + 2* Gigabit SFP Ports, with a bandwidth of 24Gbps and a pack forward rate of 17.856Mpps. It supports IEEE802.3 (10Base-T), IEEE802.3u (100Base-TX), IEEE802.3ab (1000Base-TX), IEEE802.3x (Flow control), and IEEE 802.3z (Gigabit Ethernet Fiber Standard) network protocols, as well as IEEE802.3af(15.4W) and IEEE802.3at(30W) PoE protocols.

The network medium supported includes 10Base-T: Cat3, 4, 5 or above UTP(≤100m), 100Base-TX: Cat5 or above UTP(≤100m), and 1000Base-TX: Cat5 or above UTP(≤100m). The optical medium supported includes Multimode optical fiber: 50/125, 62.5/125, 100/140um, and Single-mode optical fiber: 8/125, 8.7/125, 9/125, 10/125um.

The PoE switch has indicators for PWR (Power), 1-10 Green Light (Link&Data), and PWR On/Off. It supports two DIP modes: Default (common mode, all interfaces can communicate with each other, transmission distance less than 100 meters, transmission rate 10/100/1000M adaptive, port AI mode disabled) and Extend (Link extension mode, 7-8 ports force 10M, transmisstion distance 250M, enable POE watchdog).
